Adam Beasley
College: Samford University, Birmingham, AL
Degree: Bachelor of Science in Biology
Adam will receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He is currently applying and interviewing Medical Schools with plans to enter later this year. He was recently recognized as Who's Who Among American College and Universities at Samford with a GPA of 3.75. Adam is a founding member of Samford Crew, est. 2010, and served as president. He is an associate member of the pre-health society Alpha Epsilon Delta and a member of the Biology honor society Beta Beta Beta. Adam was also inducted into the National Academic Honor Society for Freshman Alpha Lambda Delta with a 3.76 GPA.
Michael Braud
College: Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA
Degree: Bachelor of Science in Biological Science
Michael will graduate with a BS in Biological Science. He has been accepted in to University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy with plans to become a Doctor in Pharmacology. While at LSU, Michael served as an LSU Ambassador and volunteered at multiple events. He volunteered in Relay for Life, Buddy Walk, Race for the Cure and Habitat for Humanity.
Brittany Bruhl
College: Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA
Degree: Kinesiology - Pre-Med
Brittany will graduate in December with a degree in Kinesiology-Pre Med. At LSU, Brittany has been active in the local community, volunteering at Boys Hope Girls Hope and Habitat for Humanity. She collected Pink Lids for Breast Cancer awareness, helped to collect thousands of cans as donations for the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank during CANapalooza. Her hobbies/honors includes: Phi Mu Sorority, Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity and National Society of Leadership and Success at LSU.
Brad Hewitt
College: Texas A&M University, College Station, TX
Degree: Bachelor of Science, Economics
Brad will graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and plan to pursue employment in the investment industry as a Financial Planner. While at Texas A&M, Brad organized a canned food drive at Halloween for a local food bank, participated in a mission trip to Houston to work with underprivileged children. In his free time, Brad enjoys playing basketball, weight lifting, watcing & attending NBA basketball games and attending Aggie athletic events. Gig 'Em Aggies!
Mary Zar
College: Southeastern Louisiana University, Hammond, LA
Degree: Criminal Justice
Mary will graduate with a Bachelor of Art in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Sociology. Mary has already accepted a full-time position with City Court of Slidell. She is still very involved in the Slidell Soup Kitchen as she has been for many years.
Mary continues to be an ambassador for Habitat for Humanity and was recently honored when East St. Tammany Habitat for Humanity announced that they now have a scholarship named after her. In addition, Mary volunteers at Girls Day for Health, an initiative by Slidell Memorial Hospital where she encourages young girls to stay healthy and smart.
